Guantanamo and The WWII Japanese
Not only do i not think it is not right that those prisoners are there in Guatanamo, but also i think that there are slim to none parallels between their detention and that of the Japanese Americans during WWII. They were rounded up for different reasons, yet they were both rounded up. The first, today, were watched, then plucked out of the masses. The second, then, were herded together, collected without distinction between individuals.

I think that there are more similarities bewtween Guantanamo and Japanese internment. While it is true that during WWII it was more of the whole race being rounded and and put into internment camps, and now with the war on terror, it is more of an individual being locked up, they were both locked and refused rights that the constitution gives them. Also, many of the prisoners being locked up now are quite possibly innocent, and the ones being caught are still based on race and nationality.
