Guantanamo and The WWII Japanese

Not only do i not think it is not right that those prisoners are there in Guatanamo, but also i think that there are slim to none parallels between their detention and that of the Japanese Americans during WWII. They were rounded up for different reasons, yet they were both rounded up. The first, today, were watched, then plucked out of the masses. The second, then, were herded together, collected without distinction between individuals.


Guantanamo and The Universal Declaration of Human Rights

I do not think it is okay that people in Guantanamo Bay are denied fifth ammendment rights. But they are not citizens of the United States, and do not have fifth ammendment rights. But their rights as humans are also being ignored.

Everyone has the right to recognition everywhere as a person before the law.

Article 9.

No one shall be subjected to arbitrary arrest, detention or exile.
